APPLICATION: Over spaced sheathing allowing ventilation. Wood shingle courses
Wood Shake
MATERIAL: Machine sawed cedar. Uniform butt thickness and smooth surface.
APPLICATION: Over either open or solid sheathing 18" wide 30# fiberglass felt as underlayment interlayed between wood shake courses.
Hand Split Red Cedar, various thicknesses. REMARKS: Lasts approximately 20 to 35 years Graded by#1 to #3 for roofing use #1 only(Free of knots and sap wood)

APPLICATION: Over either open or solid sheathing 2 layers 30# felt as underlayment,tiles secured with copper nails, tie wire and mortar.
MATERIAL: Clay: Mission clay tile, it is much lighter than clay and has an Interlocking design. In Conclusion, this material lasts over 50 years. It is incumbustable and we offer a variety of different colors and patterns.
Roof Slate
Application: Over either open or solid sheathing. We have two layers. The tiles are secured with copper nails. The material are made of the highest quality man made slate made in Vermont. We install 4 and 5 ply built up roofs, including modified bitumen, that have a life expectancy of 20 to 25 years. All of our built up roofs are plied together with hot asphalt.We use gravel for a long lasting surface and a Class "A" fire rating on many of our built up roofs.Some of our customers prefer a granulated surface, so we use modified bitumen as a finish sheet.We do not torch on this product. We apply with hot asphalt in addition to several plies of ply sheet to provide you with a long lasting roof.

Most of the composition roofs we install are 30 to 40 year dimensional type shingles.This type of roof performs best in the long run.
